Born out of a passion to create a bold, unique and exciting restaurant theme, the Industrial Revolution Eatery & Grille fuses the finest handcrafted comfort cuisine with an atmosphere that pays tribute to the American spirit of Innovation and Greatness.We aim to connect with our guests by telling the story of our nationβs inspirational past while serving them delicious classic foods favored by the American worker. This unique environment, which we call Upscale Industrial, is meant to inspire diners with inspirational stories of both famous and ordinary people who have made great contributions building our country as well as the risks taken that best exemplify Greatness.

Covid-19We were traveling home from NW IN and they knocked out the take-out! Everything was constructed in a foam box like it would have been on a plate. Quality of the food was spot on along with the lady who took the order and delivered to our car. Bravo!

I love this place! The girl who waited on me got my order wrong, never brought me my drink I ordered after water.. but that was the only mishap I have ever had there! I also lost a bunch of weight (40lbs) so I could buy a 2x shirt I wanted from there, and they didn't have it.. so that was a real achievement killer.

Fantastic food!! Great presentation!! I love the small American flags on all the meals!! In a world so offended by it its refreshing to see a restaurant proudly displaying them!! The interior was very clean and so eye catching!! Beautifully decorated, and friendly staff. A+ in my book!! I'll be back in my next trip out that way!!

Second time here while traveling through Indiana. Ordered the same thing both times, cheese dip and the burger slider sampler. Fun drinks. Good food. HasnΓ’β¬β’t disappointed yet. Hope to come back again!

The service was exceptional. Kristina took great care of us. I ordered gluten free flatbread and she knew to eliminate croutons from my salad without me telling her to do so...a Parmesan cheese crisp was a pleasant substitute. Our server made nice suggestions. Our food was delicious and was served hot. If you come here, come hungry because the portions are huge. When my grandson comes to town, I'm bringing his family here, because they have a miniature train that travels throughout the restaurant. This is a great place for families.

Wonderful local restaurant! We hopped over from Lake County just to visit. Staff was friendly, attentive, and safe. Everyone was wearing masks, the tables were well spaced out (i could see the cooks on the line wearing masks and gloves) Our waitress Stephanie was friendly and cute and took good care of us. We had burgers and they were delicious! Loved the decor (the train was a nice to me touc ), and the "All American" feel. So glad they are open! Will be back, more on the menu I want to try!

Extremely fun and unique atmosphere. Having a father and husband as Ironworkers it was incredibly special to see the Lunchtime replica and all the other amazing features of this restaurant. Great food, atmosphere and service.

First time there, staff friendly, priced reasonably. Food was good and served quick. Forgot to give us Napkins and flatware, had to ask for it. Otherwise good. Will go back.

We went right as the covid restricts lifted so we called to make sure they were doing dine in. Our server, Bri, was extremely tentative, the food was beyond delicious and the beers were great. When the food came out, it was at the perfect temperature. The portion sizes were perfect.

The atmosphere was fun and inviting, through it was noisy. I still enjoyed my time even if it was harder to hear my company. The food was good, but the pot roast is the way to go! The mac-n-cheese pot roast was pretty impressive also! I will be returning when I am that direction again.

Amazing place for dinner that everyone needs to try. This has been on my list of I want to try for a long time and now that I finally had the opportunity to do so, I can't wait to go back. Great atmosphere, love the monthly highlight of significant figures to history. The model train suspended from the ceiling is awesome. Everything on the menu sounded perfect. I started with a cup of chili that was phenomenal, and then had the burger sampler because I couldn't decided on just one. My wife had the potato soup which was super creamy and delicious, and then the pot roast dinner that I was a little jealous of. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive and really made the whole experience.

My husband and I Googled Top Rated Restaurants in Valpo. This came up, so we decided to try it.We were greeted with great decor, a friendly staff. We asked our Server, Zach, his opinion on the best your Restaurant had to offer. He said, the number one is Pot Roast Mac N Cheese, number 2 Pot Roast Dinner, and 3 was the meatloaf. We both decided on the Pot Roast Dinner.... it did not disappoint, it was perfect, tender and absolutely delicious! Thank you for a great eating experience!

This place is pretty cool. It is like a blast from the past. If you are a history buff you will love it. It's like a mini museum and restaurant all in one. They do have food challenges there as well, if you complete the challenge then your meal is free!

A surprising gem of a restaurant and bar in Valparaiso. Took my mom for her birthday and was impressed by the beer selection and food offerings. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and their desserts are worth saving room for.

I finally got the chance to try this place today and I wasn't disappointed. The inside was cute and my kids loved watching the train go around the top. The fried pickles to start us off were some of the best I had, the loaded BBQ sandwich was delicious, my son had the cheese pizza and he's very picky but gave it two thumbs up and my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich that was gone in minutes. I will definitely be back again!

Ok, you'll ready for the ultimate American burger experience! Well here it is! Such awesome history inside and out of the portrayal of construction Americana! Wonderful historic photos throughout the restaurant that really take you back and gives you that feeling of greatness that we are! Unique food choices that melt in your mouth! Truly excellent flavor and service! Wait staff are high energy and personable, and they take care of you while eating! Great appetizers as well! Love this place for the food, service, and atmosphere! Oh, great bake area also. I even watched the 3 stooges while in the bathroom! Cant beat that!
